2027 MTF Travel Award Application Form

The Medical Toxicology Foundation (MTF) offers several travel awards to support medical students and residents interested in medical toxicology and attendance at the 2027 ACMT Annual Scientific Meeting in New Orleans. Through this single application, applicants may be considered for one or more of the following awards:

  • Resident Travel Award – Supports residents with a demonstrated interest in medical toxicology. Includes meeting registration and up to $1,500 in travel reimbursement.

  • Carol R. Angle Pediatric Toxicology Travel Award – Supports pediatric residents and medical students with a demonstrated interest in pediatric toxicology. Includes meeting registration and up to $1,500 in travel reimbursement.

  • Dr. Michael Shannon Travel Award – Supports U.S. medical students and residents who self-identify as members of an underrepresented group. Includes meeting registration and up to $1,500 in travel reimbursement.

  • Johnson & Johnson Consumer Health Travel Award – Supports U.S. medical students and residents who self-identify as members of an underrepresented group. Includes meeting registration and up to $1,500 in travel reimbursement.

Applications are due October 12, 2026. Applicants may indicate all awards for which they would like to be considered.

Award recipients are expected to attend the full three-day 2027 ACMT Annual Scientific Meeting and be present for the Awards Ceremony. Applicants will be notified of award decisions in early December 2026.
